It&#8217;s just a list; perhaps I&#8217;ll rhapsodize about them at some other point.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fried eggs on buttered sourdough toast.<\/li>\n<li>Tuna salad sandwiches.<\/li>\n<li>Split pea soup.<\/li>\n<li>Pulled pork.<\/li>\n<li>Roast and three veg.<\/li>\n<li>Poutine!<\/li>\n<li>Macaroni and cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Aussie meat pie with sauce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>My wife likes the roast dinners too, prefers her eggs poached, and adds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cauliflower cheese<\/li>\n<li>Pumpkin soup<\/li>\n<li>Good bread (pastadura!) with butter<\/li>\n<li>Angel hair pasta with cream and smoked salmon<\/li>\n<li>Gnocchi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are some of my all-time favorite comfort foods.
